EmailSand Lake Resort Located on the shores of Sand Lake, in Sturgeon Lake, we are less than two hours north of the Twin Cities and one hour south of Duluth, MN. We are open year-round for all you lodging needs. We offer numerous activities both in and out of the water. Including canoes, swimming, biking, hiking, a diving raft, row boats, paddle boats, fire pits, and an indoor game room. Sand Lake Resort also offers trail access to the Willard Munger State Trail for a wide variety of outdoor activities. The Munger provides a paved bike trail and access to numerous ATV trails in the summer. In the winter it offers access to hundreds of miles of Grant in Aid snowmobile trails.

- We have 7 comfortable, clean CABINS that can sleep 3 to 6 people. If you are looking for an original log cabin, Cozy and Windsong Cabins are your choice. If more modern is your flavor, check out Rockwood and Comfy Cabin. Lakeside, Laguna and the new Sandy Beach Cottage offer the best views of the lake from their decks or patios. If you have a larger group or just want a bigger place, we have 4 Vacation Homes that offer great accommodations and can sleep up to 12 people in comfort. Evergreen, Eagles Nest and Sunrise are the newest additions to the resort with new furnishing and amenities.
