Our Harmony Club Inc. is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that caters to the elderly members of our community that have age-related issues or may be socially isolated. Our program is aimed at providing a safe and stimulating environment for them, while also providing their caregivers with 6 hours of respite time. Respite care is vital to a family caregiver's well-being. Not only does taking a break to help a caregiver alleviate stress and recharge physically, mentally, and emotionally, it can also make them a better caregiver. With the help and generosity of community and churches, of all denomination, Our Harmony Club is an affordable solution to deliver realistic respite opportunities to caregivers that can be easily integrated into their lives with minimal disruption A day at Our Harmony Club consists of up to 6 hours of respite for the caregiver, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The cost for a client to attend each club is $30.00. A $3.50 donation is requested for lunch. This social day program focuses on keeping clients socializing with each other while doing both physical and engaging in mental activities. Daily activities include music, singing, arts and crafts, brain games, exercise, entertainment, and bingo. Clients are served a morning snack and lunch. Seniors are served by volunteers who listen, interact and genuinely care and want to be there. They understand the need for a caregiver to receive much needed and deserved respite time.

Respite is vital to the family caregiver.

Our Harmony Club cares for seniors for 6 hours for under $35.00 a day, allowing the full-time family caregivers to take a break and time for themselves. They have been a God sent to our family.
