ABSOLUTE WORST TREE SERVICE IN THE HAMPTON ROADS AREA. BEWARE OF THE LOW COST QUOTE YOU GET AT THE BEGINNING, BECAUSE YOU END UP PAYING FOR IT IN THE END. I hired Copeland's Tree Service to cut down two trees, grind the stumps, and remove all of the debris. The cost was very reasonable, so I was pleased at first. Things turned bad quickly. At one point the foreman Anthony came to my door and told me that they had forgotten their rakes, so they wouldn't be able to clean up. What respectable tree service or landscaper forgets the most basic of their tools? This company left all of the debris in my yard (Branches, limbs, and huge logs), claiming that they would be back in two days to remove it. They never returned. I called and spoke with Anthony on several occasions, and he told me that he would come out himself to take care of it (By "taking care of it" Anthony meant that he would cut up all of the logs, and leave them on the side of the street for people to pick up. Not that he would solve the problem and do what he stated he would do, which was REMOVE the debris from my yard). Anthony never showed. I called Copeland's every day for a week, and had to leave voice mails, because he had stopped answering my calls. Needless to say, I never received a call back, In addition to the tree debris that they left in my yard, they also left their trash (several plastic water bottles and fast food wrappers), and their sweaty t-shirts. I finally had to hire a different company to come and remove the debris, so the great price that Copeland's gave me didn't even matter, because it ended up costing much more to hire someone else to finish their job.

I hired Anthony to remove a dead 120 foot tall tree. It had to be climbed to be cut down. I was pleased with the work of the crew, and their reasonable price.
