I have been waiting for TWO MONTHS for a decision on whether or not Dr. Moore would take over my care since I moved back to the area and had surgery 2 years ago in another part of the state. Katie, who has been the person "helping" me with this, told me to come to the office to sign a consent form so that they could obtain my records. I did that and provided her with ALL of the necessary information to obtain all the records she needed. I waited one month, called her back, and she told me that she didn't get everything. Well, when was she going to CALL ME to tell me this. Better yet, when was she going to call the dr's office to get exactly what she needed? So, I provided her with another number to obtain hospital records and waited yet another month. I called today and she told me that she has been too busy to call me with an update. She has not received any records STILL and I've been waiting for no reason. She has NOT faxed anything to the dr's office, so I've found out, so how would she EVER get those records? At this point, I do not want him to take over my care. I'd prefer to drive 2 hours to my original dr than to waste another second of my time with such an incompetent group of people. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to explain what Katie has been.
