Nansemond Parkway Elementary School is an educational institution that enrolls students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It provides classes to more than 550 children who are taught various subjects, such as science, social studies, language arts, math and reading. Located in Suffolk, Va., the school employs a staff of over 60 teachers and paraprofessionals, including counselors, custodians, speech therapists and librarians. It also offers learning sessions in music, art and technology. Nansemond Parkway Elementary School s computerized program, the Accelerated Reader improves the reading levels of students. The campus is a part of the Suffolk Public Schools System, which owns and operates several high, middle and elementary schools.
