I had my yorkie there this pass Saturday and I was so happy with them. I had just got my yorkie from a person who could no longer care for her. She was head to toe matted up so bad. Also she had never in her 6 yrs. ever been to a groomers. So she was very timid and afraid. I was also turned down from several other groomers, plus one vet wanted 200.00. Anyway, I took her here and when I picked her up (1 1/2 hr later) there she was, a pretty new little dog that wasn't even shaking anymore. That I was amazed at. As well as the cut. This place is the best and I will never go anywhere else. Even after getting her back home I looked for little nits and cuts because the Matts were pulling at her skin, I didn't see not one tiny cut. Couldn't believe it.

Living in Suffolk has made it quite challenging to find groomers close by without having to go all the way to Chesapeake. Not only is The Hydrant appointments ON CALL, but their staff is AMAZING!!!! From day one that have been honest, friendly, and accommodating! I have a german shepherd and a bichon and they absolutely LOVE going to The Hydrant! It is a family run business which makes me love it even more. My bichon has never cared for strangers but constantly RUNS to them! He is eager for his monthly haircuts and has began allowing me to brush him more often here at home. I know our dogs are in good hands!!! ALSO!! They groomed my cat!!! They gave him a lion cut and it rocks!!! They are amazing !!!!!!

The groomer is very rude and disrespectful. She has small children trying to handle the dogs. They did a terrible terrible job on my poodle. I had to take her somewhere else to have her cut fixed

I have three Shih-Tzu's and they love playing with each other. However, I cannot keep them from getting matts and tangles so I go once a month to the Hydrant. Courtney, one of the groomers there, does such a great job! She go over and beyond what she should do. She has come in on her day off and helped me when I needed them tidy for hoilday pictures and so much more. They are just Great there and they make you part of the family! I highly recommend to anyone!
