Western Tidewater Mental Health, located in Suffolk, Va., offers services for the treatment of individuals with mental disabilities. It offers a variety of assessment and emergency services 24-hours a day, seven days a week.Western Tidewater Mental Health provides various adult mental health services, such as diagnosis and evaluation, crisis intervention, and individual, group and family counseling services. Its case management services include chemotherapy and provides comprehensive services for severe and persistent emotional disorders that impair functioning in personal relationships, living arrangements and employment. Western Tidewater Mental Health also offers less intensive services for marital and family difficulties; problems in coping with stress and depression and anxiety. The center provides child and family services that include evaluation, play therapy, individual, group and family counseling and consultation.
