MOVE ANYWHERE ELSE!

Independence, Raytown, Detroit, Congo, anywhere but here.

Don't visit unless you like getting traffic tickets (for going less than 2 mph over the limit).

Don't move here unless you like S.C. City Code Enforcement coming to your residence several times a year to complain about the driveway/fence/planter bed a previous homeowner installed (while your neighbors rusted Chevy "yard-art" rusts for another decade.

Maybe this was once a charming hometown, but unless you are in a California king sized bed with a city official, then you can kiss having a quiet place to raise a family goodbye.

I can hear my great grandparents that lived in Sugar Creek for 50+ years turning in their graves up at Mound Grove all the way down in Kentucky Hills.

Good riddance Sugar Creek!

I cannot believe your towns people would pass a law that it is illegal to grow food in your front yard. Really? Why? You ever wonder why your politicians get voted out of office after one term, cause your idiots. Now I know where communist America is...

It was brought to my attention that this small town is to charge people for growing food in the yards in which they live in. If so, that's sad.

Called the police station to report a neglect and abuse about a feline animal left out during the winter months and the woman answering the phones was unbelievably rude and laughing and said that she didn't see the problem and she would let the officers know and if they chose to pursue then they would, so I asked to talk to the supervisor and she said none were on duty. She took my information so fast I don't think she even wrote it down. I will continue to call until I talk to a supervisor.

we've lived in Sugar Creek for 5 years. We love it here. People are friendly and it has the small town feel. Our police department is top notch and always willing to help if needed and to check out ANY complaint or suspicious activity. I just wish we had a grocery store...and more business down town.
