About us…

My name is Pennie and I am the owner of Pennies country scents located in Sugar Grove, PA. I was a stay at home mom for several years taking part in all my children’s activities. As my youngest child started high school I started dabbling in candle making. Pennies Country scents was founded in 2004 when I started making candles to sell. At that point I was just going to local craft shows and was making all my candles in my kitchen. By 2006 I had outgrown the kitchen and opened my shop alongside my home at 1315 Lanning Hill Road, Sugar Grove, PA 16350. My candles have a country flare to them as I specialize in bakery type candles. My candles are made from a paraffin blend wax, all of my candles are created and hand poured by me I use as much scent oil as the wax will hold to give you a highly scented candle.

My Beliefs I believe that all candle should be affordable and should smell great from the first time you light it till the last time you light it. And when burned correctly all wax should be consumed.

My Goal is to bring you a highly scented quality candle at an affordable price.
