On April 8, 2014 I went to Ibn Sina Community Dental Clinic in Houston, TX. I was seen by Dr Ramzey Helal for a tooth extraction. When he walked into the room he didn't even introduce himself and it appeared to me that he was more interested in obtaining more business from me by telling me that I needed 3 more teeth extracted and that I would have to come in to his private clinic: Crescentwood Dental in Sugar Land, TX. He was not focusing on the one tooth I came in originally to get extracted. I told him I didn't need the other teeth extracted for now and he seemed upset. The way he extracted my tooth seemed to me like he is very inexperienced. He was digging and pulling to try to get the one tooth out and eventually he had to drill it into many pieces! That was the only way he was finally able to extract my tooth, in many pieces! Finally when he was done torturing me he didn't even say anything he just left the exam room without telling me what to do as far as post-extraction care. I would also like to add that the tools he used were already out in the open so I don't know if they were even sterilized. Never take an appointment with this doctor, it will be the worst day of your life, trust me!
