This had to be the biggest mistake stopping here for dinner. We just wanted something fast and since the restaurant was right next to our hotel we thought it’d be fine. My husband ordered the chicken dinner (the special for the evening) and I ordered a steak. They couldn’t get his order straight, thinking that we had ordered the chicken separate from the side dish and my steak was atrocious. I ordered it medium and it came out totally raw the first time. The second time it was completely opposite, so they offered me a different cut of meat altogether. They said they often have a difficult time getting that cut of meat cooked correctly, so why they have it on their menu is beyond me. My potatoes were cold and my cold green beans were partially mixed with the potatoes! All of this plus 2 glasses of ice tea and mediocre service for about $40!! NO WAY!

DUKUM INN IS MOST DEFINITELY A WONDERFUL FAMILY RESTAURANT.

EACH STAFF MEMBER IS ATTENTIVE AND THERE TO HELP. THEY ACTUALLY CONVERSE WITH THE CUSTOMER'S, MORE THAN "WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TODAY" ?, WHICH RELAXES ME AND MAKES ME FEEL WELCOME TO BE THERE.

THEIR FOOD IS DOWN HOME COOKING WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. IT TEMPTS YOU TO RETURN CONTINOUSLY JUST TO SEE IF ONE MEAL IS BETTER THAN THE NEXT, NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY.

AND TRUST THIS COMMENT, I DO FREQUENT THIS FINE ESTABLISHMENT AS OFTEN AS I CAN FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS AND I WILL CONTINUE TO.

This is the best restaurant around here.It is family owned and operated. the food is excellent and the service is above average.
