Filed my 2014 tax return with a lady by the name of Peggy Butler as a single 18 year old male. Also my first time filing. I got a refund of almost 7,000 due to a lot of mileage for using my personal vehicle which I had no receipts, logs or anything. She made it seem like all my answers to her questions were normal. And said something about mileage showing a red flag so we dropped it down to something she said they may look past because they know the oilfield. Well In 2017 I received an audit letter showing I was being audited and I took it to them and she told me to send them receipts which she didn't need when I filed my taxes and knew I didn't have and wanted me to make a list of every town I was in and my miles for 2014 which was three years back. For any of you who know the oilfield. You are in a different place every day if not in the same day. And since I had no receipts and had no help and didn't know what to do and had no way to prove my mileage I decided to just see if they would pay the interest and fees and I'd pay the rest. She first told me she would but only if I kept trying to fight it. And I had nothing t fight it with so I called and had it closed and told them how much the interest and fees was probably around 1500 dollars out of the 7000 and she told me that she said she'd pay it if we went through every step to beat it and that none of it was her fault. I totally disagree but now it's 2018 and I still owe a little over a thousand on it and they haven't paid a dime. I will never recommend anyone to go too a place they will not watch out for you and not just worry about making money off normal hardworking people. So my review for Peggy butler and Jackson Hewitt in sulphur ok is that they are a joke and greedy.
