We really enjoyed our stay. If your looking for a modern four star experience, this is not that type of place. But you will enjoy an old school more personal experience. This was one of the most relaxing stays I've had. It is an old establishment, and some of the cosmetic elements have gotten away from the gentleman who owns it. When we pulled up and saw the exterior was a little grown up, we were sceptical. But at the end of the night when we returned to a fire in the fire pit, the bamboo and willow was a nice touch, secluding us from the rest of the world. The rooms were clean and have a feel of home. The beds were very comfortable. The place was quiet and peaceful. The owners name is Charlie. He is a wealth of knowledge on the area. I am an early riser as is he. In the morning while he was making preparations for his guests, he found time to sit at the dining table and have coffee with me, and visit. One of the nicest guys I've met.
