Founded in 1997 by Satish Sanan, Padua Stables is a state-of-the-art thoroughbred training center and stud farm. The company s stallions include Dance Master, Delaware Township, Exchange Rate, Pico Central, Snow Ridge, Proud Accolade, Vindicator and Yes It s Time. Padua provides breaking and training of yearlings and two year olds, as well as a complete rehabilitation and lay-up service, including lameness detection and treatment, post-operative care, and resting and treatment of lay-up horses. Padua facilities include four barns totaling nearly 100 stalls, as well as 20 individual stalls with private turn-out paddocks. The training center is outfitted with individual covered hot walker and wash racks for each of the four barns as well as two round pens and an arena for breaking purposes. Padua Stables conducts operations from its headquarters in Summerfield, Fla.
