I called Tuchek AC & Refrigeration at 8:10 am after our AC unit stopped working in the middle of the night. They promptly answered their phone and asked me to give them my information. Within 2 hours a service technician was at my home and was able to diagnose the problem and had my air conditioning running in 20 minutes. This company didn't look to milk me for money. They didn't look for the expensive fix. They came to do the most efficient and inexpensive job, gave me tips on how to prevent this from reoccurring, and recommended a few other things be done to maintain the unit.



In a day when it seems many service companies look to maximize their profits by up-selling and over charging, this was a refreshing company to deal with and I would highly recommend them for any AC needs. I wish more companies were like this one.

After a disastrous dual HVAC installation, by subcontractor David Satelle of Tropicool Services, Frank Tuchek-Tuchek Air Conditioning & Refrigeration was the THIRD contractor brought in to repair a non-functioning HVAC system. Despite five attempts by another HVAC contractor, Frank was able to troubleshoot and get both HVAC systems functioning in less than two hours. He actually contacted the manufacturer's tech support to isolate the problem, rather than throwing parts at the problem. He then tackled the inept duct work installation, done by Tropicool Services, and got the house cooling as well as possible. His crew did a great job repairing the duct work and cleaning up after themselves. Professional and knowledgeable he's a rarity in the Florida Keys.

Frank and his crew did the install of our AC system 2 days ago. The staff were very professional, and had a vested interest in making sure the job was done right. The price was very reasonable. Overall, very pleased with the job that was done!!

They are wonderful! On Time. Inexpensive and professional.
