I am a first time car buyer. I have had my car for about 3 months and I love it! I like the fact that it is a small business and they took their time with me. Quality of cars are above and beyond.

It's sad that we usually don't write positive experiences, so today I made an effort to make sure that I did! Gralin Hampton is the best! Sadly, I've read people who have struggled to make payments and are blaming him for that? I can only speak from my own experience. My parents bought my first car from him and I've bought 2 from him as an adult! Never EVER HAVE WE HAD ANY PROBLEMS! He is kind and wouldn't let me buy a vehicle that he knew would over extend me, but made sure I was in a car I loved at a price I could afford at this juncture in my life. He does have some luxury vehicles that I pray one day I can buy and I will only buy from HIM! He is a man of God and it was evident to me in all of our many interactions. There is a lifelong customer in me!

I read the reviews and noticed that only people who have issues, from their perspective, have posted. I have been purchasing cars from the owner for about 30 years, even before he owned a dealership. I have always found him to be honest and approachable. The cars I have purchased have been in great condition and the price has been equitable or lower than other dealerships. I would highly recommend this business if you are serious about purchasing a vehicle.

car i bought was $10,000 over blue book, stopped on the way driving it home, spoke to Mr. Hampton and he was not willing to make any repairs, after being late on 1 payment, they sent a repossession letter. when i called to discuss arrangements his use to be secretary which is now his wife was very nasty and rude and did not work with me, will never buy from her again, cars are over price they look nice but they are no good

I would not recommend this place to anyone!

WARNING! Do not purchase your vehicle from here! You will regret it! I have purchased 2 separate vehicles from this place and my first experience was bad but my second experience was the worst! Yes they have very nice cars on the lots and that is how they lure you in. As soon as you drive the car of the lot be prepared to make your payments on time and well out shell out extra cash for maintenance, such as replacing spark plugs and wire after driving your new car for just 1 month! Look for the check engine light to come on too. The owner Gralin and that chickenhead that he has working in there will be the sweetest ever to you until you sign them paperworks. If you're late on one payment, no matter what's the circumstance is, they turn into complete devils. They repo your car without sending any letters or calling and if you want to get your car back you will have to pay your past due, your current and 2 months payments in advance. They treat they're customers like sh*t and they are some selfish, greedy, money hungry bastards. They do not care about you, money is all they care about and they will not work with you! They will never have to worry about me again and I would never recommend Gralin Hampton Auto Sales to anyone. Dealing with them means selling your soul over to the devil, yet Gralin is suppose to be a "preacher". Him and his business is a disgrace to the community. And they wonder why we don't support black-owned businesses, it's because of people like Gralin Hampton Auto Sales who ruin it for everyone.

Do not call these people!! I called several weeks ago to inquire about a vehicle on their website, which states, is update daily....guess what, the vehicle was not avail.



I called today to ask about a price for a vehicle on the website. When I inquired about the price the "gentlemen" on the phone quickly told me I had to come in to get the price and quickly hung up.....just plain RUDE!I I understand about wanting customers to come in so they can try to "sell" them....but why waste my time and theirs if the vehicle I inquired about is out of my price range. After these two attempts at getting info, I can now say I will NEVER call them again, and Never recommmend them to anyone.....needless to say, they lost at least one potiential customer. I am happy that their business is so good they can afford to turn people away.

I left several email and voicemail. Four days later, I finally spoke with this GHETTO HOODRAT. She was so unprofessional. The cars over $10, 000 more than Kelly Blue book value.

I purchased a car from gralin ge was as nice as could be u even refered friends and family when I started having issues with the car1 week after I got it and he made me feel like I damaged the car. He is not a great salesman but he says he is a preacher and he is satan in sheeps clothing they patch the cars up long enough for u to buy and fix at your own expense all the cars atr noooooo good

Buy a car without test driving first?!

We've been looking for a used car in the Goose Creek/Summerville area and actually found 4 cars at Gralin Hampton we were interested in and zero cars at other lots in the area. Problem is that they allowed us to test drive an Infiniti, which we loved, but refused us allowance to test drive any other vehicle. We told the salesmen that we would be buying within the next week and he told us to come back then and they would allow us to test drive the other cars we're interested in.

Why would we come back when we knew exactly what we wanted to drive and they wouldn't allow us? We have the money for the downpayment, money for monthly payments, would be repeat business as we were also interested in buying a second vehicle from them (An Escalade) and my husband is in the Navy at the NWS so, He could provide a great word of mouth for this place. Instead we're left disappointed, pissed off and stuck looking elsewhere for a new car.
