I recently went to the Columbia location and received a massage here. I purchased the massage through Groupon. I was majorly disappointed. First of all, I could never speak with anyone via telephone, only email. Secondly, I was NEVER asked which parts of my body I felt needed the most attention, what I did for a living, or where I was experiencing any pain. I was only asked if this was my first massage and if I liked the pressure. I hardly even felt what was done on my back. I have had a massage before at Bella Riley's in Lexington with Dawn Ridge and she is amazing! She asked all of these questions and more, and focused on what I needed most. She also told me what my most tense areas were after and what could do for them. All I got at SBW was a sales pitch. I mean, I understand the idea of a groupon is to generate business, but I think that in order to grow your clientele, you should leave a lasting impression. The only impression left on me from this place was a sore neck.

I had one of the first tandem massages from Jen and Dan just the other day and it was absolutely amazing!!!! It was my first time having one of these massages before, with two people giving the massage, synchronized at the same time. I have had many massages before but never like this one... my mind was in senosry overload! At first I was worried that the pressure wouldn't be the same but I was mistaken. Jen and Dan are completely in tune with each other and flow extremely well together. I would highly recommend this massage to anyone needing any type of massage for any reason. It will be worth every bit of time and effort that you put in and I promise you will appreciate every second of it!

Let me give you some history about myself, 2 lumbar surgeries and Fibromyalgia, in constant pain. Commericials and people on the internet make a great deal of money with all kinds of promises to bring relief, I have tried many so called "cures", only to find that there is no such thing. What I have found is Jenn Merchant, what a massage therapist, caring and concerned about the whole person. Jenn is very knowlegable about my "health problems" and is able to give an excellent massage that has just the correct amount of pressure for my body and bring relief. I will always have pain but to find someone who knows how to treat my body and my stress levels is amazing because she brings relief.



I would recommend Jenn to anyone who wants to find relaxation or who has health reasons to seek out a massage therapist. Jenn, I can't say thank you enough for all you have done for me.
