Tucker Roofing is the reason I need a new roof. After reading the negative feedback dated 10/24/13, it appears he is still doing substandard work. When I bought my house in 2004, the previous owner contracted Tucker Roofing to replace the roof. I drove by the house to check on the progress. There was only one person on the roof and he was struggling with a piece of plywood. I asked him if the plywood was being replaced and I found out he didn’t speak English. After the roof was replaced, it failed the home inspection. His company then corrected the problem. It was also noticeable that two different shades of shingles were installed. Another problem was a leak that I fixed myself. Third problem was a “hump” in the shingles above the garage (same area as the non-English speaking employee was struggling with the plywood) . Extra “felt” was stuffed under the shingles. After the extra felt was removed, that area sunk in. There were times when I called Tucker and set an appointment for repairs, he didn’t show up and never called. I called him back and he stated his worker was sick. You would think a roofing company would have more than one employee. On a second appointment, he never showed up or called again. I called him and he stated his truck broke down. There are more examples of his substandard work, but I think my point is made. Maybe if I wrote this evaluation earlier, the person who wrote the negative feedback on 10/24/13 could’ve hired a better professional contractor.

Proceed with caution... Tucker Roofing replaced our aging roof only to create multiple leaks. The leaks continued for months. Mr Tucker was indifferent when we notified him. After multiple requests, he returned, however I found him on the roof checking his voice mail while pretending to work. He agreed to reimburse us the cost to have another roofing company correct the leaks. When completed, Tucker Roofing never followed through with the reimbursement.
