Located in Summit, Ill., Argo Community High School is a coeducational school, founded in 1920. It provides instructional and support services to more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. The high school offers more than 200 educational and extracurricular programs, including courses in American history, art, biology, mathematics, science, English, world history and foreign languages. Its student support professionals, including counselors, social workers, school nurses, psychologists, peer mediators and speech therapists. Additionally, the high school provides a full-service bookstore, library, food service and bus transportation facilities. It provides a variety of athletic activities, such as football, cross country, soccer, golf, swimming, volleyball, tennis, basketball, bowling, wrestling, baseball, track, softball and badminton. The high school is recognized and approved by the Illinois State Board of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
