Our experience with an agent at Claremont Realty Group, Stephen Jay Brown, is one that we hope you do not repeat. We had a difficult buying transaction with our current home. Instead of advocating for us, this agent inflammed the hostile working relationship between his office and the other realtor, the sellers, and seller's attorney. He misinterpreted and then communicated confidential information that resulted in delays at closing, greater hostility amongst the parties, and conditions for the transaction whereby we had to sign away essential rights that we did not want to give up. We believe he acted unprofessionally and unethically and his actions seemed more interested in CYA than advocating for us. We do not recommend him and hence do not recommend Claremont Realty Group.
