All around great experience . Children love it and that's what matter to me, that they r comfortable.

I've used this pediatrician for the last ten years for both of my kids. My favorite doctor DR.Buschor has since left the practice. Up until the past year I don't know if it's a change in staff or inability to handle the number of patients or what but this practice is not what it used to be. On multiple occasions I've be given inaccurate information. You can call as soon as the appointment lines come up and by the time you're answered they're booked. Not to mention on Sunday I was told that I would get a call back from the nurse at 8:58 ( time I called in)and today's Tuesday and I still haven't received a call. Good thing I took her to urgent care. It's a popular place, the doctors I've interacted with or good but ooverall I'd rather not have the additional stress where you expect nothing but the best when it comes to your child's health.

I agree with Mrs.Mom26....These staff are very caring and nice...unlike Comprehensive Neurological Services in Florence, SC! Dr. Murthy refused to give my son medicane he prescribed that has to be weened off and Dr. Mitchiner got him to do it after I called Sumter Peds. about my problem with Florence! Tosha" Dr. Mitchiner...I know it was you and Renee in Referals! Thank you sssoooo much!!

In his Tuomey Lifetimes magazine, Dr. Mitchiner said he likes to talk to kids about sexual things with them without their parents in front of them. He said it gives him the opportunity to talk freely with them without their parents in the room. It is a big violation and sexual harrassment of minors. Also, no doctor should look at the private parts of children when there is no medical need to, and they are only there because of a sore throat or cough or runny nose.

The staff was very nice and knowagable. My kids love going there. Best doctors in Sumter and the surrounding area
