Provided by YP.comAt first, we enjoyed living here. The rent was reasonable, and it was close to our employment. After a year, however, we started having problems. Once the manager decides she doesn't like a tenant, she will harass them with miniscule violations of obscure rules in a failed attempt to force them out.
Half a year ago, I would have given a decent recommendation for this place, even though many of the housing units are significantly worn and regular maintenance is a must to keep the places somewhat liveable. But the last few months have not been good. The managers visibly look down on their tenants as 'beneath' them for living in trailers and doublewides, and do not care about their needs. Until the management changes, Palmetto Woods is not a good place to live.

Rule enforcement has become an increasing priority due to the significant growth in number of move ins. It has become apparent over the past year that enforcement of rules and regulations (as per the lease) is necessary to continue enhancing community quality, safety and living standards. All tenants are treated equally and are respectfully asked to follow rules and regulations via verbal communication, followed by written communication in order to allow time for reparations by tenants. Maintenance on homes is completed during move in/out periods and upon request. Requests are taken in writing by office staff, over the phone or in the office.
