I made the grave mistake of going to Sunrise Self Storage for my friend's packing needs. I was not given a receipt for the items I purchased, they just copied down" my credit card information."

When I went back to return 2 unopened bubble wrap packages I was advised that they would not refund my monies, they would not exchange for any other items of comparable value nor would they help me in any way whatsoever as I did not have a "real receipt". Only the one their salesgirl had given me. But the items had indeed been charged to my debit card.

The two managers were present and I have to admit to never having had to deal with such obnoxious and odious individuals before. They stated that they had managed this facility for 13 yrs. I plan on checking this out and contacting the actual owner of this facility.

I would STRONGLY urge others to go to the new, clean and well managed storage next door to this one. I would anticipate you will be treated much better.
