I came to DBKarate school, an after school looking for my children and found something that went far beyond my expectations as a mother who wants the best for their children. I found a place where certainly learn Karate and discipline, but also companionship, responsibility, teamwork and overcoming challenges. To face your fears and overcome them, all while being children and also have space for fun. And I think that's priceless because ultimately that's what life is all about and these children are ready to live in it.

DBK is great!! Go there you will really learn a lot. The great thing about it is that they make you feel so welcome and if you dont know a lot about self defense thats ok because the sensei (demian bermudez) will lead you all the way. If he sees talent in you or thinks you have great chances of going far, he will not stop until you are a champion and the best part of all is that DBK is also really fun!!! so if you are looking for a karate school remember DBK!!!! :)

Sensei’s ability has made DB Karate School grow stronger with his perseverance and mindset. He’s not just started a business; he’s created a big family of people who’ve become confident and stronger individuals because of his teachings. He cares about every single one of his students and wants them to excel in this sport and grow as better individuals.

Everyone is welcome. When you join, you don’t just become part of the school, you become part of a great karate family. Everyone cares and looks out for one another. The more advanced students are always patient with beginners and help them out a lot.

Sensei has amazing techniques that he shares with us and helps us defend ourselves. His classes are varied. He mixes it up so that not every class is the same. That way, students look forward to what he’s going to teach next class. He encourages his students to go to championships and trains them very well for them. He instills in them the desire and passion to become better at what they do. He does so much for his students; it isn’t possible for anyone in their right mind to say he’s only in it for the money.

I’ve never seen such a great group of driven students who look forward to class and practice their techniques even when they’re out of class. As one of his students, I’ve learned so much and improved in so little time. I’ve seen other senseis and honestly, there’s no better than our sensei. There’s no better dojo than DB Karate School. There isn't enough stars in the rating section to describe how great it is.

This Karate school is the best i have bin here for six to seven months and it is great they taught me great things and I say thank you to every one there :)

DB Karate school is amazing its a great way of showing respect to others and its not just about showing respect to others but it teaches you how to defend yourself ,it helps you , it makes you feel good and most importantly is having fun with it , enjoy. the sensei is amazing , he's nice , honest ,and very worth trying for his class he teaches amazing stuff in DB Karate school. I have been in this karate school since it first opened. We have been through thick and thin and nothing stopped us from becoming the school we are now. We are growing everyday and have never been stronger. DB Karate School is not only a school to learn a activity or how to defend yourself but a new family that you become. I'm proud to be in this karate family and we are welcoming any new member to come too!

This is the third karate school that my son has enrolled in (in the past four years) and without a doubt, THIS IS THE BEST SCHOOL! "Sensei" is great with each and every one of his students. He's patient yet firm. You know he must be doing something right if your child practices on his own and looks forward to the next class. It is apparent that DB Karate School is not just another school trying to make money. The instructor truly cares for his students and never hesitates to ask for the parents' inputs/involvement.

I must say that I admire the way Sensei Bermudez teaches karate to children. From the first class he is patient, yet pushes them to recognize the essence of karate and respect for the art. My daughter was referred to him by the Sunny Isles Beach Community Center. Karate and his teachings have helped my daughter be more goal oriented, mindful of others, and increased her self esteem. I admire the fact he likes to get the parents involved. Your children will definitely benefit from DB Karate School.

DB Karate School offers students of all ages an environment that encourages its students to work together as a team while simultaneously teaching each student individually to realize their full potential. Demian Bermudez is a wonderful instructor and well-experienced in both the traditional and competitive aspects of martial arts. A great school for both beginner and experienced martial artists alike!
