The sisters grew up in the restaurant industry at Mama Mercedes' restaurant in Chalatenango, El Salvador, then proceeded to work a multiple Mexican and Salvadoran restaurants in the Bay Area, which included their own catering service. Now they have joined Alberto Guzman in this restaurant venture. To now own their own restaurant means the world to them. Visit Taqueria El Pollo now El Sabor de Mercedes soon.
