I went to get gas tonight around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016. My young daughter was with me and we went to the new Marathon on Commercial Blvd. and Pine Island in Sunrise/Tamarac, FL. My credit card was authorized at pump (8) and with the hose in my gas tank, but before I could get the fuel dispensed, the female attendant shut off the pump and turned off the lights. I walked over and she locked the door and closed the shutters. When I asked her through the window why she did that, she said she was closing!
I was then forced to go to the next gas station where I was allowed to complete my gas purchase.
Never have I had such deplorable service from anyone/anywhere! I have photos that I will post both on social media, as well as review sites about this, in hopes that this will not occur to any other patron at this gas station! If you look closely, you can see the older lady as she started counting her till while I spoke to her from the window! The store hours are clearly displayed 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. No matter how rushed she may have been to close down and get home or end her shift, she should have allowed your patron to complete the sale/purchase!
