The Department of Special Education provides academic and enrichment activities for students with development disabilities. The department offers psychological assessment services for children between the ages of 3 and 5. It is administered by the School District of Superior, which is one of the largest educational instituions in Wisconsin. With a staff of more than 740 staff members, the district serves over 4,500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
