So my husband and I ordered fried chicken w/ biscuits. Mu husband asked if the chicken was fresh "the one" are the person in charge paused for a moment but said yes. My husband said out loud to the person that I ONLY want it IF it is fresh. the younger people went to the back and came back and said yes; which after tasting it, YES THEY LIED!! It was NOT fresh! Throwing it back in hot grease doesn't make it taste better! My advice, throw it away after that. We had ordered our food to go but afterwards we decided to sit there and eat for a few minutes as we had been traveling. But me showing the acting manager the chicken, I'm sure she was stunned when I took the rest of the chicken back to her and even as I showed her this chicken and said "This is very unacceptable and this is ridiculous, the manager only stood there looking down the entire time I was speaking with her. This shows me why Bojangles has more of the buiness now that Your Hardee`s should be making. The two places are built next door to each other. Now, if I had only ordered a piece of chicken to go, I could have left with no problem. It was the large box and these days its very costly for gas to drive 5 or 6 miles to get there and then "wait time"! To make it even worse, the manager stood clueless and offered not even a "simple oh I sorry, nor even offered a simple coupon; not a regret to be seen or heard! A large box of freshly made chicken would be great If it were offered to us. Just her staring down at that dried up hard, disgusting chicken, that is what we didn't ask for. That certainly didn't put food in our stomachs or money back in our wallets So, we lost all the way around!
