I've lived in the West valley for a few year and have been to at least a half dozen barber shops looking for someone who could actually cut hair. Well, I have found the "Pot of Gold"....Meraima gave me the best haircut I have had since leaving Ohio 12 years ago. Could not be any happier with the cut! Thank you Meraima!!!! OMG.

I went with a friend to get haircuts today 9-14-15. I'm a female and HAD hair about 1 inch below my shoulders. NOT ANYMORE. I spoke with Gayla and explained EXACTLY the type of haircut I wanted. We talked about it a few time before I sat in her chair. I wanted NO MORE THEN 1 INCH from the bottom and my layers cleaned up. Very simple so I thought.

I sat at her station facing the front of the shop and could not see a mirror. Gayla began to cut my hair. After about 10 minutes she said to me I hate to keep cutting your hair, but i need to.... The second I heard that I know something was wrong. About 5 minutes later she was done and I stood up to look in the mirror. I saw the amount of MY HAIR laying on the floor and just about started to cry. I said wow that is short. I was so upset that I did not say a word . Not knowing how upset I was my friend paid for my haircut and we left.

I started to cry before I got to my car. It was so SHORT. IT BARELY COVERED MY EARS AND IT WAS SHORTER IN THE BACK.

When I got home I really checked it out in the mirror it was uneven the sides were longer then the back and some areas were different length. I called them and told Chuck what had happened and he commented that he had over heard parts of what was going on since he was cutting my friend hair in the chair next to mine.



It looks so bad that the only option I have is to have it fixed, but that would take another 1-1/2 off. That is NOT ACCEPTABLE to me at all.

great place for a traditional cut,.more for the older crowd,..not for the trend setter,....if ya wanna it off the coller and off the ears,. this is the place,.they do good work,....

I have lived in Az for 23 years and recently moved to the Surprise Area. I have been to quite a few barbershops in my time. I have had a hard time finding one I really liked until a friend referred me to A Hole In One , here in surprise. This shop reminded me of the one I used to go to when I first moved here.I thought the good old fashioned Barbershop was gone for good! Alas my faith has been restored.

This shop made me feel at home the minute I walked thru the door.The place even smelled llike a barbershop! I recieved one of the best haircuts ive ever had. The staff was friendly and professional, I will be back next month ,Ive found my barber home!
