Eli from SMO broke our 5 foot window at our home on May 11th 2018. A rock from his mower hit and shattered the window and he acknowledged this to my girlfriend. I heard the glass smash when Elisha Smolinski & I believe Steven Smolinski his brother was working in our back yard. They broke our window and admitted to it and now claim it was broken by us the owners of the house. I just found out Elisha has a criminal record in Newton NJ and I wish I had done the extensive research on him before my girlfriend hired him. We will bring this lier to justice before he does this again to others. We unfortunately paid him cash before the work they did, and they split before finishing the job. All good reviews are from his relatives, facebook & google pages down I guess they will change their names instead of paying for the damage they did.

SMO Brothers are not who you think they are. I hired them two weeks ago, paid them cash, and invited them to do other landscaping work. During their clean up, they broke my 5' window off of my kitchen. I showed them the problem and I was assured that they would cover the damage because they are insured. At that point, I went into my house because they had not completed mowing. Within a few minutes of my going in, they left. They did not finish the work because they did not edge the property by weed whacking and left huge weeds in the back of my home. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured that since I asked them to mulch, they would be back. I texted Eli and asked him to come back to complete the work. He never showed up and now will not answer my texts or calls. He's a charlatan who has demonstrated that he lacks integrity by the way he handles his business. A good businessman would have worked with me to resolve this by continuing to work with a client, particularly when the client offered to not let a broken window spoil their working relationship and would have let him continue to work which would have helped ease the company's loss. Now I will be pursuing other means of restitution.
