We hired Blue Frog to convert an existing 8200sf building into a veterinary hospital. First of all, I very much liked the design/build concept employed by Blue Frog. We worked with Shawn Rainey and Mike Rubio on the overall design. Both are very creative and easy to work with, as well as insightful regarding the workflow and features needed in a veterinary hospital. Their interior design department was equally creative and attentive to the details of appearance and helped us select colors, lighting and other accents that effectively tied everything together. During construction, which was completed on time to the day, the onsite supervisor was fantastic, treated the construction project as if it was his own building being built, and updated me daily on the progress. Any questions or concerns during the project were addressed immediately and effectively. This was my 3rd veterinary construction project and I was very impressed and pleased with Blue Frog from start to finish.

The decision to go with this contractor for the construction of our veterinary facility was the worst decision we could have made. This company provided absolute abysmal, terrible service. They took more than twice as long to complete the job and finished 23% over the original cost estimate provided by the company, $850,000 vs $1,044,000. (There were NO material changes to the scope of work; in fact, they removed items from the job cost schedule in order to get the cost down to this amount. The timeline was even worse. We hired this contractor to be operational for the summer of 2014. The company provided an original estimated completion date of June 26, 2014, We finally received our CO "certificate of occupancy" on January 20, 2015. The delays were the result of multiple factors including: multiple (changing) superintendents (3 or 4), unreliable subcontractors and a senior project manager who did little to no follow up with either; the subs would disappear for weeks at a time. In fact, there was virtually NO ONE on site during the month of June. We did not have a reliable full-time superintendent until near the end of our job. We would have thought a $1 million job would have a full time superintendent. The company will indicate that the personnel involved with our job are no longer with the company; as a result, everything will be just fine moving forward. However, it was not the superintendent who provided this original careless estimate which caused so many other issues - like the hiring of unreliable subcontractors. In addition, it is the company's responsibility to hire the superintendents and subcontractors. The COMPANY made these decisions to hire these personnel which gave us such a horrible experience. The job just dragged on and on. We can not imagine a job going any worse. Lastly, the person who originally sold the job to us will NEVER be welcome on our property.

BFC is the best of the best. They did an outstanding job on an 8,000 sq. ft. new ground up building for me 2 1/2 years ago. Their attention to detail and containing costs were fantastic. A pleasure to work with and their timely follow-ups were unsurpassed. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I just wanted to say thank you. You guys are unbelievable and you don't know how much I appreciate your quick response to our calls, especially what you did for us with the A/C at the other house. We are extremely appreciative not only on how you conduct yourselves professionally, but also very much on a personal level.

The blue frog is fabulous! We opened it around 11pm as we were reflecting on our journey. It was the perfect ending to our day.

You pointed that out to me last time I was at your house. There is nothing i can do to that bay to make it look any better. The framing is horriable. Blue frog has gone as far as I am prepard to go on your house. I have been out there many many time fixing more and moer stuff to statisfy you and that will never happen. You will NEVER be happy. I have asked you on multiple occaisions to give me a Final punch list. Everytime we come out there. You find more stuff for us to fix because of Poor Framing. Move on Rusty paint your house it looks wonderful all you are going to do is drive yourself crazy with these minor issues. In a perfect world the framers would have never done such a horriable job and we we would not have to pay the price for poor workmanship. So No I will not be coming back any more. I cannot afford it. I said i would do anything to make you happy. But that will never happen. I can"t make you happy so i Will not go Broke trying. Good luck with the rest of your project.
