OMG not sure why this restaurant hasn't gotten better ratings! I went last night and thought it was excellent. I'm sitting her eating my left-overs and they are just as good as last night. i will definitely be going again. I like Athens Kouzzina too but this is nice change.

Do yourself a favor, if you are looking for Good Greek food that will go above and beyond, Go to Sugarloaf Mills Mall and eat at Athens Kouzzina. The food here was not good, edible yes, but not worth the money. I had the unique opportunity to stand in an extremely long line (slow moving) for a recent event. A younger version of the arrogant owner was passing out lamb samples to the folks who were waiting. There were no utensils to use, just people putting their fingers into the dish and picking out the one they wanted... REALLY??? Pretty unsanitary, and in today's times??? I wonder what goes on behind the scenes. I let him know that there are people leaving the line left and right, he was not concerned in the least bit. Didn't want to get his white shirt dirty attitude. The two gentlemen inside the truck working feverishly were kind, but not happy to be the result of poor planning on the owner's part of only having two people serving 1500 people drinking wine (I was not drinking, I was a volunteer). Which brings me to the owner...you couldn't miss him in his shiny black blazer, not a hair out of place--an older version of the young passing out germs, I mean lamb. When I let him know that the wait was entirely too long, etc. he didn't apologize, he was over the top Arrogant, Rude and Ridiculous. He told me "Please do not come to my restaurant" Who says this????? The icing on the cake was that the food was tasteless and bland. I had a falafel wrap and my friends had a gyro wrap. Not even the tzatziki sauce was good. I mean if you are going to be THAT ARROGANT ABOUT YOUR RESTAURANT, and offer your patrons POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND plain RUDENESS....the least you can do is make sure that your food is good....I'm afraid that his arrogance is strictly ego, and doesn't deliver. Go to Sugarloaf Mills....Athens Kouzzina the food is great, the service is what you expect to receive.

Ate here last weekend and had an excellent experience. Dolmathes were some of the best we had ever had. Environment was pleasant. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would eat here regularly if we lived closer. Highly recommended!

Pleasantly surprised

As others have mentioned we have been waiting a while for this place to open. But on my very first visit I could see that other people were eager too. This place was quite busy. The server was very pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was surprisingly classy. Not what I expected. But very nice. And the food was incredible. Great flavor and fresh. Even my 8 year old who is a picky eater ate everything on her plate. So a hit all around. I would highly recommend it!

Went today for lunch and had a HORRID experience. Waited forever and had to have the food taken back twice and it was still wrong. Very disappointing after waiting FOREVER for this place to open. Will stick with OPA Gyros & Kabobs on PIB - much much better!!!
