I got nothing but good words about this place since day one. Offices are clean and relaxing, the staff is professional, friendly and never had an issue. I do find their appointment reminder calls to be actually a plus ( as I do have another doctor who does not provide that service at all, but that does not reduces the quality of the care she provides). Most of their policies, including a cancellation policy ( which is posted in the waiting room), are standard for every medical office, so I don't think it is fair to give them one star on that fact only. I hope that other people won't be discouraged to give this place a chance, for the the therapist I am working with is a "real gem" and other could miss out on therapists like her just because of the one star rating review.

This counseling service is a private practice with multiple providers. When you go for your first visit, they make you sign a document stating that you will cancel any appointments 24 hrs in advance or you will be charged the full amount for the visit. They give confirmation calls the day before. And, as soon as you receive that call, if you need to cancel, you better do it then, because they will charge you if you can't make the appointment. I called 23 hours and 30 mins ahead ( as soon as I received the call), and they still charged me!!

They give no regard to even their own confirmation calls, stating that it is a "courtesy call" when you speak with their billing department. If you have a sick child, or an emergency that prevents you from making this appointment, they don't care! They will charge you for a service that you didnt use, and they didnt provide. I could understand charging for no-show appointments or even day of cancellations, but to charge for 23 hours and 30 mins!! It's this lack of flexibility that makes me give them a 1 star for this practice. To be a practice that specializes in helping people become their very best self, they sure do stick it to you!!
