Our 11 year-old tabby cat had stopped eating and became lethargic, losing about 4 lbs. in just a week. We visited Swannanoa Valley Animal Hospital where Dr. Howie quickly diagnosed his problem. The vet and assistants treated him at the hospital and sent him home with us along with instructions and some meds. By the following morning he was doing much, much better. We found the staff at SVAH very friendly, knowledgable and caring. Their prices for services are reasonable and compare favorably with other vets we have used in the area. There are also several options for payment that allow you to have the needed treatment even if you are low on cash at the time. We highly recommend SVAH and are very pleased we discovered it.
