We have filled several prescriptions filled at Realo and although the experience has never been enjoyable, most recently is was horrible. The staff has always lacked professionalism and knowledge. For instance, the store policy is to bill your insurance company for a prescription even if they cannot completely fill it. They will often send you home with a note saying they owe you the rest of the prescription and will call when it comes in. This means you must wait and drive back another day for the rest of your medication. This policy recently caused my father undue pain and aggravation when he ran out pain medication one day after his prescription was partial filled. The pharmacist couldn't be bothered to tell us we would run out of medication on Sunday when Realo was not opened. This caused us to have to call our doctor on the weekend and he had to re-write the script so that it could be completely filled at Walgreens. We paid out of pocket for this expense because Realo already billed the insurance company for the original full script. We recently spoke to the manager Zack about this problem and he couldn't care less. (Again quite unprofessional and uncaring). To make a long story short...go to Walgreen right next door and save yourself time and aggravation. Walgreen will treat you with professionalism and compassion. And lastly, they do not partial fill prescriptions so you know your prescriptions will be filled the way the doctor wrote them.
