They have that perfect small town feel. The vet really cares and is extremely knowledgeable, not only in veterinary medicine but also natural remedies. When I didn't want to give my dog drugs for the rest of her life, she had a natural, much cheaper remedy for me. I don't have to argue with her about anything like most vets; she always honors my wishes. She also cares about saving you money. When she recommends a medicine, she then lets you know the cheapest way to get it. When a procedure may be needed, she discusses all the pros and cons to include price and doesn't hold anything back. She's the most honest vet I've ever seen. I have annoyed many people because I always have tons of questions and what ifs. She patiently and politely answers every single one of them. When my dog had labs done, she actually took the time to bring me back into the lab to let me look through the microscope and explain everything to me. The care is very personal.
I will have to move in a few months and I wish I could take her with me. I have a service dog who is my lifeline and I can't imagine having to trust her care with any other vet.

ONLY downside is - because they are small - they don't have an on-call vet. But honestly, I'm so impressed with them I don't even care. I have the emergency vet number in Jacksonville (910-455-3838), so my plan B is covered.

Always take the time to answer all my questions. They truly care about my pets and give very affordable, friendly service. Wish they had an emergency line or vet on call that I could call.

After rescueing a stray from the pound, we searched the area to find the lowest price for shots, Not only did they offer the shots at almost half what the other clinics were offering, the service was unbelievable. The vet was able to tell us the mixture of our stray and also his age. Her staff was able to contain his puppy excitement while he recieved his shots, and he didn't even know he had recieved them. I will definately continue to go here and I hope you guys discover this little place, close to town.
