D&H Housing was founded in 1998 by Richard Deso, who then operated Deso Real Estate out of his convenience store, Lester's in St. Albans. Richard and his wife, Suzanne decided to sell Lester's, and then Richard, with his now former partner, Jim Harrison of Harrison Concrete, began focusing on selling manufactured housing and developing properties for land & home packages.
