Santiam Feed and Garden Store is highly recommended if you are a down-to-earth good old country boy or girl. Or even if you are from a big city and want a taste of good old-fashioned hospitality.

I took my Daddy (Jim Hilliard) for a visit to Santiam Feed and Garden Store when he was visiting me in Sweet Home, Oregon (when I still lived there), and he loved it and was very impressed with the soft mannered owner, Garry Burks.

I also have a fond memory of going to the Feed Store to purchase pig ears for my little chihuahua's. Lone Coyote and Little Red Dog. They loved them!

If you are ever in the vicinity, I would highly recommend visiting this place. I miss my Dad, Lone Coyote and Little Red Dog; as they have all gone on to Heaven now. I miss Garry Burks, as I now live in San Antonio, Texas... and I miss the Santiam Feed and Garden Center, as it is a pleasant memory from the past.

The Burks Family were all very dear friends to me when i lived in Sweet Home, Oregon.
