John is a Certified NRA Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, Maryland State Police Qualified Handgun Instructor, and Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Instructor. John is a competitive shooter and competes in USPSA and IDPA events. He is a firm supporter of the 2nd Amendment. He believes in peoples right to defend themselves and their loved ones and wanted to provide them the ability to do so.John founded Crooked Claw Firearms Training to provide a safe and relaxed environment to help gun owners become confident, secure, and skilled with their firearms, as well as navigate the various state and federal gun laws.
