Oklahoma Road Middle School has been operational since 1997 and is located in Sykesville, Md. The school provides academic instruction to more than 850 students in grades six through eight. It teaches physical education, music, art, reading, math, science, social studies, English and language arts. Oklahoma Road Middle School offers a variety of sports activities, such as cheerleading, cross country, football, tennis, volleyball, softball, and track and field. The school offers a variety of student activities, including the Student Government Association, jazz band, yearbook, green team, robotics and twister learning club. Oklahoma Road Middle is a part of Carroll County Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
