I wrote a review stating that Frank Lay promptly returned what was left of my deceased father's retainer, and I can't recall the password to the account that I used in order to delete the review. I had just gotten off the phone with Frank Lay and had been assured that he would refund the money, so believing that he would follow through, wrote the previous review. I just wanted to clarify that it's been 9 months now and I haven't seen a dime, nor have I been able to get in touch with Mr. Lay. He doesn't return phone calls or reply to text messages/emails. I've called his office numerous times to try and schedule an appointment to speak with him, but his assistants always take down my number and I haven't once received a call back. No one will make an appointment for me or set up a time for a phone conference

Frank was there for my father when it mattered most. He was responsive and supportive even after my dad passed away, and gave legal advice beyond the area of law he was paid for. He made sure to do all he could to help and make good on my fathers legal needs. He fairly returned the money my father paid him when his services were no longer possible, and when many attorneys would have made the death of client harder to handle for the family, Frank Lay's office treated us like family.

I hired Frank Lay to do something for me Jan of 2011 and I am still waiting for him to actually do it June of 2014. I cant get him to keep a phone conference or return my calls he is extremely unprofessional. Take my advice and keep on looking you wont find the representation you are looking for here at Frank Lay's office believe me I learned the hard way.

If you want piece of mind, use someone else. Mr. Lay does not return phone calls, emails, nor will he be available for your scheduled meetings to discuss the work he is supposed to do for you, You will not know what, if any progress is being made on your behalf, and he will procrastinate so long that you will show up to court just to have your case continued because he has not resolved your issues. If you do go with him, do not pay him upfront like we did. Maybe this will motivate him to work for you. If we could, we would get our money back and go somewhere else.
