Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, we are one of the leading resources in education and training for the outdoor community. Landmark Learning is the first and only of its kind to be nationally accredited. We offer certifications and trainings in partnership with WMI, ACA, ASHI, LNT & SAI. Landmark Learning helps to increase professionalism, strength of programs, and risk management in the outdoor industry. We train over 2,000 students a year who are professionals working in the outdoor industry, or are avid recreationalists. Our student population consists of college academic programs, governmental agencies like the USFS and NPS, therapeutic wilderness youth programs, traditional camping industry, scouting groups, hiking and paddling clubs, and other professionals in the industry. Our campus is located in Cullowhee, NC. We also host a multitude of courses all over WNC and the southeast. Although our campus is in WNC, we have a broad reach across the nation and internationally. Some of our most notable programs include locations in Ecuador and Costa Rica.
