My mother and I took our dresses in here this weekend to have them altered for my brother's wedding at the end of June. We figured that was plenty of time to have alterations made. We had all the pins in our dresses and someone else came in with a dress and another person with 20 pairs of pants. She didn't want to check us out until after she had pinned the 20 pairs of pants. We told her we needed to go and we took our dresses off and then asked when we could pick them up. She hounded us for an exact date of the event. We told her that we did not want to wait until the last minute and she gave us a date 2 weeks before the wedding (5 weeks from when we dropped them off). I informed her I lived out of town and would like to shoot for Memorial weekend when I was back in town. She said "you know what I can't do this." I told her that was fine and to give me my dress back. After I tried to take the dress back she said that it was first come first serve and she had other dresses to do. I understand that but the lady that came in with a dress after us was having hers done in less than 2 weeks!!! I kept telling her that it was fine and to give me the dress back and she kept continuing with rude comments. She told me she didn't know why I needed the dress so soon and that if I lived out of town my mother could pick it up for me. I told her that I still needed to try the dress back on after alterations were complete to make sure it fit properly. Two weeks before the event is cutting it very close especially if more alterations need done. Worst part is she was going to charge me $240 for a two layer hem, strap work, and bust work. I finally got my dress back from her and took it somewhere else and they are only charging $80. No professionalism or compromise with customers.

I took two pairs of pants in to be hemmed. They did a horrible job on both, did not press either, and after only a few times wearing the one pair, the hem came undone. I took the pants back in to be fixed, and the woman had the nerve to say they did not hem them there. I have never had anything altered before, so I had no idea what to expect. Obviously, as the other review said, this is the worst place in town.
