Review of c Michael exterior

After seeing an advertisement in the paper, I decided to call this company to schedule an appointment for a quote for two windows in my house.

After asking my name, address and phone number I was asked if I was married. I was taken aback but answered and then asked if I had authorization to make household decisions. I again was taken aback. I answered that we both make decisions in my house and the salesman just said oh.

I made the appointment but after hanging up I kept thinking about his questions and tone.

I immediately called back and asked for a manager or supervisor. I was transferred to the same salesman instead. I again asked for a supervisor. He refused to give me a name or transfer me. I explained to him that I was canceling the appointment and that the questions asked about being married and able to make decisions made me uncomfortable and were not necessary. I stated better questions would have been are you the homeowner and what is your budget?

The salesman was very brazen and instead of apologizing defended asking such questions. He made it quite clear by his words and tone with me that he and the company believe that if you are a woman you need a mans input. He was very condescending.

I told him that I am a licensed realtor and deal with many vendors whom have never asked me such questions. He Informed me that I knew nothing about sales and how business works. I assured him that I do not need to know if someone is married and household dynamics to do business with them.

I will never recommend this company to anyone! Any company who operates with these discriminatory practices will not be getting my business.
