Holy cow.
What can I say to discourage anyone to have any dealings with the Porietis'.
They are slum lords and you probably already know that if you are looking at any of their rentals.
I rented for 16 years through the old man.
We had an agreement that I could sublet and rent rooms.
We worked together for years with perfect rental payments.I upgraded the properties because they were in crappy condition.SURPRISE right?
The old man's daughter in law took over and OMG.... she is a pure nightmare.
Shes a bully.
The ole man was hard to deal with and people would ask me how I did it.
But I did, successfully.
And he always gave me good references if I needed it.
So why did they keep my $3000 deposits on the houses when I left them. (Bullied into that as well by the daughter in law)
Pete, the ole man knows I paid him.
I dont have the contracts because they were lost through an employee I had.
I trusted that Pete would do right by me in the end......but no.
I've talked with others who lost their deposits illegally also.
They are unscrupulous people.Actually terrible people.
But all you have to do is ask around on hill top.
They have a terrible reputation....
I still cant believe he will not return my deposits. It's very bad, what he's doing.
He trusted me for years and zi did not let him down.
I paid him a quarter of a million dollars over the 16 years I took care of his properties.
He flipped me off like it was nothing.
And his daughter in law...(I cant even say her name..shes like a bad movie) is a nightmare!!
She runs the business now.
But no worries...shes as bad or worse than pete.

She is alot better of a landord (SO Far ) thFather in Law that has handed over our rental to her as our new landlord due to the fact she gets in touch once in a while to see if the maintanence request has been dealt with its just trhe fact that she doesnt have a handle on actually getting the repairs done in a timely manner and seems to only care about what is so big it could be a leagle issue and when you got kids its not that simple... hopefully she doesnt end up being another slum lord as the town knows him and on an occasion or two..TPD has called her father in-law
