Usually good food but not always consistant. When it's good it's soooo good but when it's not it can be disappointing because you're expecting something better than just ok from them. Friendly staff and clean.

El Toro can serve up a plate a rice and beans with any Mexican entree quickly and affordably. A great place for little kids who need to get in and out as fast as possible. The margaritas aren't too bad, either!

This is not the best mexican food in town but it is a good restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is usually quick and friendly.

Yes there are definitely more authentic Mexican restaurants in Tacoma, but if you are looking for a casual, inexpensive and fast service and food to get your family in and out for dinner, this is your place. The food is Americanized enough that your kids will enjoy it but not so much that you won't. This is a chain with restaurants all around the south sound but our personal family favorite is the one located on 26th and Pearl Street.
