They provided an estimate right away. It was fair with no hidden fees. The service was prompt with no reschedules. They did an awsome job cleaning up.

Excellent company from start to finish. This was our first experience with a tree removal service.



Tony Canzler showed up on time to provide a free estimate for the service we requested. We asked them to remove three very large hazardous trees, cut the wood as we wanted to keep it for burning, perform stump grinding and clean up debris. Tony provided a very reasonable estimate with a breakdown for each service involved in the tree removal process and did not over charge or take advantage when I added extra requests over the original bid.

After scheduling the job, he and his crew arrived on time and did an exemplary job.



All of the crew were professional and courteous.



The work, including clean-up exceeded our expectations and we will certainly call on Canzler in the future. They have earned the highest possible recommendation and acquired another loyal customer.

We have dealt with several tree companies as we've moved around the county and fixed up houses. Many were very good ... these guys were GREAT. What won my heart was a particularly difficult job. We had two 80ft + birch trees on a steep hill that needed to be removed. The kicker was that there were only TWO flights of NARROW stairs to get the wood out.. I had about a dozen guys come and bid. I had some serious hippie dude give me a real low bid - but he didn't have insurance (sorry!!). And I had some locally well-known companies also bid -- the prices were exorbitant. I finally called Canzler. AND AM SO HAPPY I DID! They are a local family -- and are run by family. The phone calls into the older Canzler's house. Senior Canzler bid the job, Junior Canzler did the job. They gave me an INCREDIBLE price and were not phased by the work it would take to remove the trees. I have 4 little kids at home. They LOVE to watch the work go on. In the past, I have had to keep them far away (not just for safety reasons) but because the workers tend to have what we call "potty" mouths. The Canzler crew were SO polite! They never used any "off" language and didn't complain (in my earshot) about the job. they were happy, and chatty, enjoyed the audience, and a pleasure to have work around my home! I now carry their card everywhere -- and recommend them #1. (Mashell River Timberworks is #2). If you have a need for tree removal or any sort of tree care/removal --- call Canzler! Couldn't be happier with the quality of service. They removed one tree and took down dangerous limbs from two others. I was impressed that a crew of six worked tirelessly at removing, shredding limbs and then left the yard looking better than before. I highly recommend Canzler Tree Service.

I don't know what happened to the first reviewer. Maybe he misunderstood the older gentleman. I had him (85 years old) give me an estimate after the ice storm (I'm sure they were going crazy to keep up with everyone) and he did great. He started the company and was still a part. When the work was done I met his son, who was the crew foreman, and felt very confident. They were also highly recomended by our hardware store where I shop all the time. It is rare that you meet anyone that is looking out for what is best for you, but that's how it was, and we were very pleasantly suprised. I am getting bids from them on other projects and would highly recomend them.

I called Canzler tree service. An older sounding gentleman answered the phone and identified himself. I identified myself and he stated good bye and hung up. I called again to confirm that I reached Canzler's Tree Service. The man who answered the phone, Steve Canzler, confirmed that I was speaking to Canzler's Tree Service and informed he was hanging up. I called a third time and spoke with a very friendly woman. She explained that the reason Steve kept hanging up is because he thought I was a salesperson and he was tired of receiving sales calls. I'm not a salesperson. I'm an officer in the Army and I need stumps removed from my property. Due to his rudeness, I will not call Steve again and I highly recommend that anyone who expects politeness and customer service should call someone else.turn

We've used this company at least four times in our residential property. They're the best. We've have some rather difficult tree problems but they handled them without a problem.
