Fawcett Elementary School offers classes in math, science, reading, writing and physical education for students in grades three through five. The school organizes literacy, math and science nights. It has a parent-teacher association that supports box top contests, book fairs and skating nights. Fawcett Elementary School s Fawcett Associated Student Team (FAST) collects food and donates it to food banks. FAST has organized a food drive for Northwest Harvest Food Bank. The school is governed by The Tacoma Public Schools, which maintains more than 50 elementary, middle and high schools. The school district serves students in kindergarten through grade 12.
