Mr. Chang was able to do what no other TV repair location could do. He removed a bracket from the back of our Sony TV that had one screw that would not release, and installed two new brackets so we could use a wall mount. Very reasonably priced, and a very honest, nice man!

I have a tube cd player that has been increasingly humming and driving me to the point where I could not listen to my music. It is extremely difficult to find someone to work any tube equipment without having to refinance your home! Patience for waiting for my audio equipment is not on the "to do" list unfortunately! Liffick's was more than fair on his repair price and his turn-around time was fast enough to keep my patience in check! Great place to have repairs done.

I found Liffick's by a Bing search, after getting no help from the manufacturer of my components (HT/pro audio amps), and told by a local hi-fi shop to just throw them out and buy new amps (from them, of course). I took my amps to Mr. Chang, and was tremendously impressed by his ability to quickly diagnose the problems with my two pieces, call me within days with a quote, and then called a couple days later saying they were done! The repair(s) were impossible to spot (I looked!), and the amps are back in my home theater rack, performing flawlessly. Mr. Chang offers a 60 day warranty on repairs, and charged a $50 diagnostic fee for BOTH pieces I brought in (not $50 each), which was applied to the final bill. One important bit of info: He only accepts cash or checks...NO debit or credit cards! I wish I had found Mr. Chang years ago, as I've had quite a few pieces (TV's, amps, CD players, etc) over the years that have needed repair. His shop is a valuable resource in a market that is rapidly disappearing. I hope he's around for a good many more years!!

I called Lifficks at 8:50a and Mr Chang was at my house by 9:25a the same day. He quickly identified the issue with our tv and gave me honest answers to my questions about whether to have him repair or buy a new tv. His fee to come out was very reasonable compared to places like Geek Squad. Bonus - he answers his own phone - no automated phone service and call center to deal with.

We chose to use Liffick's due to the great review on this site. We took the TV in because the picture would condense to about 1/3 of the screen, he told me that the estimate was $80, he knew what the problem was and it would be ready that afternoon. He was super fast and I think the total ended up being $81. It was refreshing that the total was actually the same as the estimate! He was very friendly and I would definitely recommend Lifficks!

Joe was a great help to my family. I own an older model Samsung big screen TV and it broke. I called some of the larger commercial repair shops and they all charged a non-refundable in house "diagnostic fee" of $136.00 and were not able to come out until the following week. I called Joe at Liffick's and he came out the next morning, on a Saturday. He charged us $80 for a deposit that went towards the bill. He needed to take the TV to his shop and it was back in our home three days later. The total for parts and labor was only $435.00. When I called the larger repair shops and explained the problem they wanted to charge me $1,500!!! I highly recommend Liffick's!!
