My daughter had oral surgery and was prescibed a narcotic for pain. When I went to rankos to fill it the pharmasist realized the prescription was to much for my small daughter. He advised me to double check with her doctor. When I did the doctor realized his mistake and changed it to a lower dose. Apparently he wrote the dose for an adult. Simply human error caught by my rankos pharmacist. Would a big box pharmacy have caught that?

Rankos Pharmacy is one of those store that everyone need to visit once. It is a very cute charming corner drug store that have such great gifts that you won't find anywhere else. I love this store and the wonderful staffs there. They also do a great job with their displays. Everytime I go in there, it is always different. Definitly not the typical standardize pharmacy. I highly reconmend this place. Also having free delivery for my precriptions is a plus

When I need inspiration, shipping or aspirin I know I can find it at Rankos! There is a pharmacy, a post office and shipping outlet, an office supply dept, art supplies, unique tys, cards, WONDERFUL DESIGNER CHOCOLATES, run-of-the-mill candy, beautiful gifts at modest to expensive prices, and HELPFUL staff who can guide to where you are most likely to find what you might not have realized you needed in the crowded old-fashioned shop for a certain someone, or for yourself. This is a destination spot near beautiful Wright Park.######Why not buy two chocolates and meet a friend by the cannon in the park and let your senses explode?

it is tiny but you will find almost anything you are looking for. ranko's still has that small-town feel, in the age of rite-aids across the street from walgreen's.

I've always had good service from Rankos, but I must question whether I want the one person who knows all my medical conditions to recognize me when I walk in and have the prescription ready. From a service perspective, however, it's great and the crew is very professional and friendly. The only time I go anywhere else is when Rankos is closed, which, unfortunately, is more than I'd like. But it is a family store and you have to take the good with the bad.

Stepping into Ranko's is like stepping into a Norman Rockwell painting. There's cute stuff for sale, mostly toys and gifts, making it a great place for a last minute birthday present run. They have a drug counter in the back and the pharmacist knows his customers. However, I have known him to be rather rude to me when I asked for him to get rare drugs for me, so make sure it is something he can stock. All in all, it's a better time than Walgreen's.
